YOUR FIRST PROMPT

Start small.
Get something useful.

You don’t need design experience. Pick one screen in your website or app and one thing you want to improve.

  1. Choose what you want help with

    Not sure what’s wrong? Start with the free screen review. It asks the AI to explain the problems before making changes.

  2. Fill in your details

    Use the customizer to add your app name, screen, audience, and goal. Text in square brackets, like [APP NAME], is a placeholder for your information.

    For example: Study Planner · Signup screen · New college students · Create an account without getting confused.

  3. Copy it into your AI tool

    Select Build my prompt, then Copy prompt. Paste it into ChatGPT or Claude with a screenshot. If you use an AI coding tool, open your project there and paste the prompt into its chat.

    Remove passwords and private information from screenshots or code before sharing.

  4. Review the result

    Look for a clear explanation of the problem and a small, practical improvement. AI can make mistakes. Check suggestions against your actual screen.

    What might an answer look like?

    Illustrative example—not a generated result: “The signup button is hard to find. Make the main action more prominent and keep the secondary link quieter. Then check that both still work on a phone.”

  5. Ask for one focused follow-up

    Try: “Explain the most important issue in plain language” or “Fix only that issue and tell me how to test it.”
